Because of their versatility, single row deep groove ball Bearings are the most popular of all ball Bearing types.
Raceways of both rings are deep groove type and curvature slightly larger than that of ball.
These Bearings can handle mainly radial loads, but they can also handle certain degree of axial loads in either direction.
These Bearings are simple in construction and are suitable for high speed operation.
