Deep Groove Ball Bearings

KG Bearings offers a comprehensive range of Deep Groove Ball Bearings (DGBBs), one of the most widely used bearing types across industries. Engineered for high-speed performance, low friction, and durability, our bearings are designed to handle both radial and axial loads, ensuring smooth, quiet and reliable operation.
Whether you’re in the automotive, industrial, agricultural, or textile sector, KG Bearings provides optimized solutions for applications requiring minimal torque, reduced noise, and extended service life.
Features
- High Load Carrying Capacity: KG DGBBs are designed to handle both radial and moderate axial loads in both directions, making them versatile for a wide range of applications
- Low Friction and Noise: These bearings are manufactured with precision tolerances and high-quality materials to ensure smooth rotation, minimal vibration, and reduced noise levels
- Long Service Life with Reliable Sealing Options: Available with metal shields or rubber seals, KG DGBBs offer effective protection against contaminants, ensuring extended bearing life and dependable performance
- High-Speed Capability: KG DGBBs are engineered to perform efficiently at high rotational speeds, making them suitable for electric motors, pumps, and other dynamic equipment
- Wide Range of Sizes and Configurations: They are available in various sizes, cage designs, and clearance classes (like C3, C4), offering flexibility to meet specific application requirements
Applications
- Heavy-Duty Electric Motors : Suitable for handling higher radial loads than single row bearings
- Automotive Wheel Hubs : Commonly used in front and rear hub assemblies for cars and trucks
- Industrial Gearboxes and Transmissions : Offers enhanced load capacity in compact spaces
- Elevators and Hoists : Supports combined loads with improved stability
- Agricultural Equipment : Ideal for tough, load-intensive applications like tillers and harvesters
- Conveyors and Material Handling Systems : Provides durable performance under continuous use
- Fans and Blowers : Ensures long-lasting, smooth operation in high-load rotating systems
Single-Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Single-row Deep Groove Ball Bearings are the most commonly used bearings, offering reliable performance across a range of applications. The inner and outer ring raceways feature circular arcs with radii slightly larger than the balls, ensuring smooth operation.
Features
- Versatile Load Handling: Supports both radial and axial loads in both directions, ensuring reliable performance in various applications
- High-Speed Performance: Designed with low friction and optimized raceways, allowing smooth operation at high rotational speeds
- Low Maintenance & Durability: Available with sealed or shielded options for enhanced protection, reducing maintenance needs and extending service life
Application
- Industrial motors
- Servomotors
- Stepper motors
- Electric machinery
- Agricultural machinery (tractors, string trimmers)
- Textile machines
- Carriers/conveyance
- Film rolling mills
- Powder/particle clutches
- Outboard boat motors, etc
Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings

KG’s Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings are designed for applications requiring higher load capacity than single row bearings can provide. With the same bore and outer diameter as their single-row counterparts in the 62 and 63 series, these bearings offer significantly enhanced load-carrying capabilities while being slightly wider.
These bearings are available exclusively in an open design, without seals or shields, making them ideal for applications where lubrication and maintenance can be managed externally.
Features
- Higher Load Capacity: Dual rows of balls provide greater radial and axial load support
- Compact Design: Offers increased performance without requiring a larger bearing footprint
- Open-Type Construction: Allows for efficient lubrication management in demanding applications
Applications
- Heavy-Duty Electric Motors: Suitable for handling higher radial loads than single row bearings
- Automotive Wheel Hubs: Commonly used in front and rear hub assemblies for cars and trucks
- Industrial Gearboxes and Transmissions: Offers enhanced load capacity in compact spaces
- Elevators and Hoists: Supports combined loads with improved stability
- Agricultural Equipment: Ideal for tough, load-intensive applications like tillers and harvesters
- Conveyors and Material Handling Systems: Provides durable performance under continuous use
- Fans and Blowers: Ensures long-lasting, smooth operation in high-load rotating systems
FAQ's

What are radial loads and axial loads?
Loads are defined by their direction. Loads perpendicular to the shaft are called radial loads and loads parallel to the shaft are called axial (thrust) loads
How do deep groove ball bearings (DGBBs) differ from single-row angular contact ball bearings?
While DGBBs can handle axial loads in both directions, single-row angular contact ball bearings can only receive axial load in one direction.
What are the differences between open, sealed, and shielded deep groove ball bearings?
Seals and shields offer additional protection for bearing components and help to improve and maintain lubrication. In terms of sealing performance, sealed bearings rank best, followed by shielded bearings, then finally open bearings.
NSK uses supplementary designations D, DU, DW, and V (DD, DDU, DDW, VV) for sealed bearings and Z (ZZ) for shielded bearings. No supplementary designations are listed for open bearings.
